Dennings Point

Dennings Point is a small peninsula jutting out into the Hudson on the south side of Beacon, NY. It was once famous for its large brickmaking facilities. It's about a thirty-minute walk to the Ossining Metro North Station followed by a one-hour train ride to Beacon and then another thirty-minute walk to get there from where I live. There are some nice Hudson River views and a number of fascinating ruins.
